Wall panels — installation guide
How to install Nroro slat wall panels (6.5 in 4-wave and 8.5 in) and flat wall panels. Both use the same clip-and-groove method.

Indoor use only. Nroro wall panels are for interior walls and ceilings — not for outdoor use or areas exposed to weather.
1. Before you start
- Store the boxes flat, indoors, in the room where the panels will go. Do not stand boxes on end.
- Check every panel for color and surface defects before you fix it. Installed panels with visible defects are not covered.
- Panels from different boxes can vary slightly — mix boxes across the wall.
- Order a few extra panels for cuts and corners.
2. Tools
Tape measure or laser measure, level, pencil, fine-tooth saw or miter saw, utility knife, drill/driver with screws, nail gun (brad or staple) for the clips, construction adhesive for trims, safety glasses and gloves.
3. Prepare the wall
- Plaster or drywall: the wall must be solid, dry and flat. Fix the panels and clips directly to the wall or into studs.
- Brick, block or concrete that is not plastered or not flat: fix horizontal furring strips (wood battens) or a light steel frame to the wall first, level and in one plane, then fix the panels to the strips.
- Ceilings: fix the panels to a level frame (battens or steel channel) and finish the edge against the wall with a cornice or edge trim.
- Mark any outlets, switches and fixtures before you start.
4. Install
- Measure the wall and plan the layout so the cut panels at both ends are similar in width.
- Mark the position of the first panel and check it is plumb (vertical) with a level. Every following panel takes its line from this one.
- Fix the first panel to the wall or frame with a screw at its starting edge.
- Hook a fixing clip onto the panel edge and fasten the clip to the wall or frame with the nail gun or a screw. Repeat along the full length of the panel.
- Slide the tongue of the next panel fully into the groove of the fixed panel, then clip and fasten its free edge the same way.
- Repeat until the wall is covered. Cut the last panel to width with a fine-tooth saw.
- Finish outside corners, inside corners and panel ends with the matching Nroro trims, bonded with construction adhesive.
5. Slat panels — matching trims
- Outside (positive) corner trim for external corners.
- Inside (negative) corner trim for internal corners.
- Railing trim for exposed top or side edges.
Each trim is made in the panel color. Order trims with the panels.
6. Care
- Wipe with a soft damp cloth. For marks, use a mild neutral cleaner, then wipe with clean water.
- Do not use abrasive pads, solvents or strong chemical cleaners.
- Keep panels away from direct heat sources such as heaters, stoves and fireplaces.
